He was pictured during Tuesday’s session training alongside Fernandes, who later sent fans into meltdown by posting the snap on his personal Instagram account.
Tagging Pogba in the image of them both laying on the floor doing strength exercises, Fernandes added a fireworks emoji, perhaps teasing a sign of things to come.

United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is seemingly equally as positive about the prospect of having both players at his disposal.
Asked whether he could fit both players into his lineup, Solskjaer told Sky Sports earlier this month: “Good players can always play together, so definitely, they can – it’s a big yes.

“I think it’s exciting… we do have an exciting squad. I’ve got Scott (McTominay), Fred, Nemanja (Matic). There are many games coming up and I’m sure we can find a good connection between them. We’ve been discussing that as a coaching team of course, and we’re looking forward to it.”

There has been speculation over where Solskjaer will play Pogba and Fernandes, with some believing the Portuguese star could be utilized in a no.10 role.
However, the MEN report that Matic’s role in the drill suggests he could be deployed at the base of a three-man midfield behind both players, though it’s difficult to tell at this stage, given neither Fred nor McTominay were present in the session.
