Chelsea have already signed Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner this summer, and Frank Lampard wants to add Havertz also to further improve his already exciting squad.

21-year-old Havertz scored 17 goals this season and also added nine assists to further emphasize his reputation as one of Europe’s finest young players.

And, according to Bild, ‘Agent Rudi’ is working to help Chelsea secure his signature.

Leverkusen is willing to cash in on prize asset Havertz this summer and they are believed to want around £90million for him.

Chelsea are expected to offload many of their squad players – including the likes of Danny Drinkwater and Emerson – to raise the funds for Havertz.

The Blues are also understood to be interested in signing Ben Chilwell, the England and Leicester left-back, when the transfer window reopens.
